Summer is for Sunflowers and Swirly Dresses!

July 23, 2010

Isn’t funny how you can wear something only once for months, and then suddenly it gets a regular rotation in your weekly wardrobe?  That was the case for this racer back dress from Anthropologie.  I wore it once in the winter and found it really difficult to style.  When I dug it out of my closet a few weeks ago I put it on and remembered why I fell in love with it last fall.  It’s comfy, has an amazing print that makes me feel bold and dynamic, and it has POCKETS!  I slapped on some accessories and wore this baby all over the place- to a picnic at Lake Michigan, to fireworks at the Point on Independence Day, to lunch and World Cup-ing in downtown Charleston and for photo-shooting in Sean’s garden.  These photos are an amalgamation of those events, which is why there are so bloody many of them.  What do you think?  Isn’t this such a super fun dress?

Being goofy with a very pretty flower in the foreground. Sean got all artsy for this one. ;)

Not the best angle, but I still love this picture. Pretty light and it's obvious that I was having fun running around Sean's garden. :)

Why haven’t I seen this dress in person yet?? Oh, that’s right, it’s under one million pounds of stuff. Someday, someday… :)
