656 Outfits for Wednesday, October 21
Today was a day for interesting details on 656 outfits. Each of us had some minute elements of our clothing that made our pieces much more interesting upon closer inspection. Buttons were particularly popular today. In fact, buttons are really all I have of Erin Dickey’s outfit, as (in what’s becoming a pattern) she beat me home and got down to work in comfy clothes before I could get her picture.
One will also notice from this post that Kelli and I have some very similar clothing. This is what happens when you not only live with someone and go to school with someone but you shop with her, too. Sisterhood is awesome, even if it does sometimes result in us looking too much like one another. :)

Kelli: blue fluttery tank (Target for $7), skinny jeans (Gap), plaid blazer (H&M), grey booties (Payless).

Emily: goofy smile, skinny jeans (Gap), careerhell.com t-shirt (a gift from my friend Sean), striped school boy blazer (Forever 21 for $10), yellow flats (some random store in SC into which I wandered w my mom and found these for $7).

A close-up of my t-shirt, which reads "Why suit up to get beaten down? CareerHell.com" My friend Sean McCambridge of Sean McCambridge Design made this shirt for his site and I love it!

A close-up of my fun little yellow shoe. I think this is the first time I've ever worn them!

The detail shot of one of the buttons from my jacket. I love the little fake crest and the slighty tarnished patina.

The buttons from Erin's blazer, which likewise have a tiny crest.
